My friend Lilly and I went to the Computer History Museum on Shoreline in Montain View, CA. It was pretty cool place; they had all kinds of Victorian calculators with gears, cranks and dials- very steam punk.

There was a dancing robot out front, but it turned out it was just a guy in costume :(. At any rate, you can take your kids there- lots of activities for them.

  1. Your disappointment is almost palpable 😄 Was it mainly for kids, or were there some interactive activities for those slightly older, too?

    1. There were a few interactive displays for adults. Also, you could make your own punch card souvenir, like they did back in the 60s. The cafe and gift shop were really nice too.
